Chef Whittier’s passion for cooking began over 20 years ago and prompted him to launch his own catering company. After receiving overwhelming praise for his dishes, Chef Whittier decided to extend his reach by opening up his first restaurant in the Chicago French Market. Chef Whittier is proud to be operating in heart of Chicago’s artisanal casual dining scene and feels it is the perfect home for the comfort cuisine offered by Wood Fire Counter.
